The annual budget hearing of the Town of Concord was called to order by Ted Mueller, Chairman, with Kim Herro, Lloyd Zastrow, Brian Neumann and Jim Zastrow present. There are a total of 12 town residents present. Ted led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Brian Neumann certified that the meeting had been properly posted. There was a motion by Kim Herro and seconded Ted Mueller by to accept the agenda as presented. The motion was carried with a voice vote.

 

Brian Neumann and Jim Zastrow reviewed the proposed 2025 Budget. The budget is roughly 1% different from last year. The Town Board is proposing holding the salaries of the Town Board.

 

There was a motion by Lloyd Zastrow and seconded by Sally Williams to increase the tax levy by $35,689 above the allowable limit to cover the debt principal and interest for the Ambulance and Snowplow loan. The motion was carried by a voice vote.

 

There was a motion by Roxanne Butler and seconded by Tom Williams to approve the 2024 town levy at $396,236. Motion carried by a voice vote.

 

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Ted Mueller and seconded by Kim Herro. The motion carried by a voice vote.
